Someone once asked...

“I have been married and living in my spouse’s country for like close to 3 years now. I developed social anxiety… as I got bullied after I came here. First by my SIL then by a neighbour and her child… so I was isolated (the reason for the bullying was ;I am a foreigner… I don’t have kids I struggle with infertility and that my husband is an amputee) I still struggle… no one speaks my language or English fluently here. I try making friends but with the language barrier it doesn’t really work. But currently if I want to stay with my spouse I have to stay here due to his Job and other official stuff. I don’t know… I wish I felt more confident and comfortable.”

I am currently learning about language and this is so difficult to hear about. I am so sorry about this relationship. Please tell your husband how you feel, he deserves to hear it. Don’t make your life about your husband- make sure that you are a priority too. Stay positive and try to find happy things, even in tough times. Good luck!

my sister... has some disabilities, physical and mental. she has trouble with a lot of things, and yet she's only ten. I don't know what her life is like, but every time I have to help my parents put her in a chair or something else, she just seems so unhappy. it feels so wrong to grab someone's leg and force them into a chair and trap them there for hours. my parents aren't bad people. they're wonderful, really. they care so much and are so kind. please, they aren't bad people. but I just really can't stand the fact that my very own sister has to live like this. I want it to be rid of my mind, but I suppose this is why im asking you all for help. I don't know how my life will go, I think im a pretty stupid person but I just imagine the life my sister has and I wonder how she even lives. she's so brave, maybe out of ignorance or maybe because she knows things I don't think she does. she's never spoken a word to me. I hope I find an answer I need. How do I get my best friend to like me?I tend to overthink situations and read too much into people's words, actions and behaviour, especially when it comes to relationships. I get attached easily and struggle to let go, even when I know a situation is affecting my peace of mind. I keep revisiting past conversations and interactions, questioning whether I handled things correctly or whether I did something wrong. I also find myself seeking reassurance and validation because I sometimes struggle to trust my own decisions. This constant cycle of thinking affects my emotional well-being and sometimes distracts me from my studies and personal goals. I want to learn how to stop overanalysing everything, become emotionally independent and feel more secure within myself.
