Someone once asked...

“i don't know how to explain i thought i would be able to move on because my friends says its not a big problem yeah they're right it's not a big problem but still my mind is still thinking about this guy 24/7 of what he did to me and im still sad . we knew each other last year and we became friends . We don't often meet but whenever we meet we waved hi to each other and we even talk. He even complimented me as a friend and i thought he's a really good friend of mine. But turns out he doesn't want to be my friend. All those compliments, kindness and friendliness he showed was just for transaction. He was standing as candidate students for the university election and he faked his personality for winning. So now he ignores me , even when he sees me he pretends i don't exist even though i waved at him and tried to call him he just ignored. I've other good friends too but it literally pisses me off because i'm so dumb . i should've used my dumb brain and knew it was all a tricks but ..... Nowadays yeah i enjoyed my time with other friends but still my mind is repeatedly replaying those hurtful moments .”

Someone answered with kindness...

Please don't call yourself dumb for trusting someone who appeared genuine. You weren't foolish; you simply gave someone the benefit of the doubt. I think what hurts most is realising that the friendship you valued might not have meant the same to him. You're replaying those memories because you're trying to understand how someone who was once so friendly can now act like you don't exist. But you couldn't have known his intentions, and you shouldn't punish yourself for that. You may have misjudged someone, but that doesn't make you stupid. Let yourself feel disappointed, but don't let his behaviour affect how you see yourself or the genuine friendships you have with others. ❤

my sister... has some disabilities, physical and mental. she has trouble with a lot of things, and yet she's only ten. I don't know what her life is like, but every time I have to help my parents put her in a chair or something else, she just seems so unhappy. it feels so wrong to grab someone's leg and force them into a chair and trap them there for hours. my parents aren't bad people. they're wonderful, really. they care so much and are so kind. please, they aren't bad people. but I just really can't stand the fact that my very own sister has to live like this. I want it to be rid of my mind, but I suppose this is why im asking you all for help. I don't know how my life will go, I think im a pretty stupid person but I just imagine the life my sister has and I wonder how she even lives. she's so brave, maybe out of ignorance or maybe because she knows things I don't think she does. she's never spoken a word to me. I hope I find an answer I need. How do I get my best friend to like me?I tend to overthink situations and read too much into people's words, actions and behaviour, especially when it comes to relationships. I get attached easily and struggle to let go, even when I know a situation is affecting my peace of mind. I keep revisiting past conversations and interactions, questioning whether I handled things correctly or whether I did something wrong. I also find myself seeking reassurance and validation because I sometimes struggle to trust my own decisions. This constant cycle of thinking affects my emotional well-being and sometimes distracts me from my studies and personal goals. I want to learn how to stop overanalysing everything, become emotionally independent and feel more secure within myself.
