Someone once asked...

“I don't feel like wanting to spend time with a friend anymore we were a group of 4 then one went to another college and it's us three now but 2 of them fought and ended their friendship now I'm stuck between them....we are in diff class so during lectures I'm with my other friends(other than those 2) and in break I can be with one of them only idk what to do”

Someone answered with kindness...

this is a simple matter of drawing boundaries for your own mental peace. you shouldn't have to choose between friendships if it's affecting your mental state negatively. choose the friend that actually cares about you and is not dragging you into the unnecessary drama in their life that you don't wish to be a part of

my sister... has some disabilities, physical and mental. she has trouble with a lot of things, and yet she's only ten. I don't know what her life is like, but every time I have to help my parents put her in a chair or something else, she just seems so unhappy. it feels so wrong to grab someone's leg and force them into a chair and trap them there for hours. my parents aren't bad people. they're wonderful, really. they care so much and are so kind. please, they aren't bad people. but I just really can't stand the fact that my very own sister has to live like this. I want it to be rid of my mind, but I suppose this is why im asking you all for help. I don't know how my life will go, I think im a pretty stupid person but I just imagine the life my sister has and I wonder how she even lives. she's so brave, maybe out of ignorance or maybe because she knows things I don't think she does. she's never spoken a word to me. I hope I find an answer I need. How do I get my best friend to like me?I tend to overthink situations and read too much into people's words, actions and behaviour, especially when it comes to relationships. I get attached easily and struggle to let go, even when I know a situation is affecting my peace of mind. I keep revisiting past conversations and interactions, questioning whether I handled things correctly or whether I did something wrong. I also find myself seeking reassurance and validation because I sometimes struggle to trust my own decisions. This constant cycle of thinking affects my emotional well-being and sometimes distracts me from my studies and personal goals. I want to learn how to stop overanalysing everything, become emotionally independent and feel more secure within myself.
