“Okay boys (or girls honestly) can you tell me if I'm just imagining things or not? So I'm a 7th grade girl, and I tried out for a state singing thing (I got in along with some 6th graders & two 8th graders). The boy that made it in 8th grade is in my LA class (we're in 9th grade LA), but I hadn't talked to him like at all before. I feel like just after three weeks of having after school rehearsals we are friends now (and I'm going to clarify that it's a great friendship), but I feel like I'm tripping because I feel like he's dropping hints that he likes me. Here's why...
• So I feel like he is touchy, not uncomfortably like it's totally fine just hand on the shoulder (like what you do when you are shocked at what someone said), nudging me to tell me something, and tapping me on the back.
• Last week, he grabbed my hand (gently don't worry), and I was confused, so he said "Roll your sleeve up," and so I did, and he out his arm by mine than said "You're really pale!" (Not rude just joking yk) Idk I just feel like it was random.
• Today, he reached out and grabbed my glasses (again, gently), and put them on himself, before laughing, then trying to walk, and accidentally falling. The other 8th grader laughed and tried to help him up (he kinda ignored her ngl). I (honestly laughing to bc he was) grabbed my glasses back, put them on myself, then grabbed his hand (which was up in the air) to help him up. Maybe I'm tripping but he didn't let go for like 5 seconds after he was standing normally.

Hi I’m a girl and live in Los Angeles, but I still hope that I can help. Maybe he secretly likes you but is just trying to show it a different way? Or maybe he just wants to be friends- its kinda hard to tell. If it makes you feel uncomfortable, def tell him because it sounds like he lokey wants to impress you. Good luck and I think he’s just trying to be friends… or maybe more!
