“Hiii, so there's this girl in my class whom I wanted to work with on a group project as I was curious to get to know more about her. And couple of months later, we got grouped together in not one but two group projects together randomly. I was excited and we had a really good bond together. We used to casually tease each other too and all. And as time passed, I slowly started getting attached towards her. And when I knew about my feelings, I felt I shouldve restrained myself coz we belong to different cultural background. But over time, I kept falling for her to an extent that I started praying for her well being everyday to God. I never prayed to God to make her mine coz I felt I was too desperate and I believed if things were meant to be together, it will happen naturally.
Over time, we got comfortable with each other and i kept falling for her. Once she got into a terrible situation in her personal life and as a friend, I did what I could, helped her with her work while she was healing. She thanked me and gave me chocolate for helping her but all i wanted to see her back and happy. Her liveliness is the reason why I fell so hard for her. But I realized, I've never able to bring the spark to her eyes which she finds when I see with someone else. That spark that lits up your eyes when you see them.
And over time, I've been crippled with overthinking which has stalled my day to day life. I think about her the whole day and I realized it has started to question myself: "Why always me?". Sure, it's true that I wish I could be the guy that makes her eye spark.
But I realized I always wanted to her see her happy even if she finds it with someone else. But I can no longer pretend that everything is normal between us. It sucks to be crippled like this. I'm not worried whether she likes me back or not but I'm more worried that I don't hurt her while I try to restrain myself from loving her. I don't want something to happen so that we can never communicate anymore. And I'm not strong enough to put on a normal face in class when she's there and act everything is fine.
Her birthday is nearby and soon maybe just a week before her birthday, I'll try to gift her something meaningful as my final act of letting go. Maybe something related to her favourite marvel character that she mentioned once or twice. Coz I know the more I think, I will lose myself and even losing her will feel like losing a part of me but it's fine, I hope I can get over it.
I just need an advice of yours on this situation and how to overcome this. Coz I feel more safe to explain to strangers on the internet than people I know. And pls don't tell me, go and confess coz I know the reality and the illusion that I've been creating. Have a nice day.”

I am so indecisive and overcomplicate so much stuff too. It sounds like you guys have built a connection, and even if she doesn’t see you romantically a meaningful gift would still probably make her day. The marvel character sounds really thoughtful and she will probably be happy that you remember all of her little details. Maybe maker her a box with her favorite things that show how you remember and care about her? If that’s too intense or overwhelming, find something simple and write a really nice card. Have a nice day and good luck!
