heyy! idk if this will help but I'll try my best. I feel like everyone at some point of their life goes through this phase. From what I've observed , we sometimes want to feel wanted so badly that we lose ourselves in it. We're ready to give as much as the other person wants . I think the root cause is not respecting ourselves, letting people take you for granted just because you're scared of being lonely. I feel like the 1st step would be loving yourself first . You wouldn't want them to stay if you loved yourself enough. It's a harsh decision because you feel attached and disappointed because you know that you poured everything in the relationship but maybe that's exactly the problem. Being extremely available from the start demeans you and a person who loves themselves would always keep themselves at first. Talk with them and genuinely try to build a relationship, show kindness but in that process don't forget that your emotions matter as much as the other and if they don't respect that then you should be the one to stop it because no one will look up for you except you. You're not lonely because you have yourself. :)

Hello Im so glad that you've noticed a pattern that one of the things people don't look into, I'm not a psychologist nor a psychiatrist but I would suggest that you don't date for a while and Im assuming you love giving more and don't care about receiving so the next time you like someone just see whether or not are they giving love and attention to other people they claim to be important in their lives or not, or is it just them seeking love. Secondly you seem like a person who loves deeply so try listening more about the person in front of you be more observant become a sponge observe their behaviour and then make a decision based on whether or not they think as deeply as lovingly as you do for you or not. Also also I feel that with the period of the "not dating" phase you need to figure out what you absolutely not want in a person when in a relationship reflect on the people you dated that'll help you make future decisions.
