Yesterday, my best friend and I slept together. We’ve done this many times in the past—for a long while, we even had a relationship that was essentially that of a couple, though not officially. On many occasions—yesterday included—we’ve talked about how we’ve considered, and continue to consider, entering into a formal relationship. The problem? He has a girlfriend, and she happens to be a friend of mine. I feel terrible, but I’ve been in love with him for a long time.

Girl, i get that you are in love with him but what you did is not right. What he is doing also is not right. If he wants you and him that bad, ask him to break up with her and you guys can be together but this is just very ugly.  Sometimes choosing to leave is the best one can do and i know i sound so cliche but realistically, do u see it happening with him seriously? Do you think you have it in you to make a decision for yourself like that? Yes ofcourse its a terrible thing to do and also feel, but i would say let go of this man, if he can cheat on his girlfriend with his long term best friend do you think he wouldnt do that to you? dont you think you will have those doubts on him? well anyways, i hope you make a choice that makes you happy. cheers to you.
