If you could have confidence that the sun would explode, like, *today*, that'd be a pretty good reason to stay in bed. Who wants to get halfway through another workday and then suffer through death-by-supernova? I'm pretty sure the sun's going to be OK for the foreseeable future, though. I guess it could explode at any time, but I think you've probably got more chances of something interesting or even positive happening to you. I'm also pretty sure that to have a day in which something interesting or even positive might happen, one first has to get out of bed.
