for the same reason that there is good, there needs to be a balance a yin and a yang. Without balance, there would just be evil same for good

Because everyone has free will. We cant choose what we want certain people to do with it. Some will use their free will to benefit their lives and personal wants while others will strive to ruin peoples lives. I choose to go through every day not wondering why there are bad things in the world I just strive to be better and do better for myself and my community but mainly myself.
