Someone once asked...

“why is it that i keep believing things can change or for me to move on, that particular thing has to be destroyed, mostly a relationship. we didn't speak for four days after a kinda pretty rough dismiss, i couldn't eat for three days, two three spoons a meal max. not even my favourite food, why is it that? i spoke to him yesterday night and today im suddenly eating. im kinda idk embarassed and i don't wanna be like that”

Dear, there's nothing to be embarrassed about. When we make someone the centre of our universe, we start to share a slice of our life with them, even something as mundane as our appetite, time or sleep. We do this involuntarily. Everything becomes interconnected, our happiness which we derive from our routinely tasks get associated with the person we share this with. It's totally fine and understandable. I have been through this as well. But it's important to understand that people may come and go but your body, your self will never leave you, don't ever abandon yourself to keep the others happy around you. Your only job is to keep yourself happy first. Starting off with keeping your body happy. So, I'd like to request you dear, to not skip meals and cut the association of happiness with the person. You can love a person without destroying your health. Do not punish yourself, you're way too wonderful for that. I'm here for you. I hope this message finds you well. And now go, have your fav meals or order some for yourself. You deserve nothing but goodness. :) Take care, toodaloo~

Another soul answered...

If you believe in God then pray to him and ask "detach me from him if it is good for me" and if you don't believe in God then take a blank paper, write every bad memory you have of him and burn the paper
