Someone once asked...

“Why do I feel so unwanted and disconnected from my close friend group, despite nothing particularly dramatic happening? I feel like I'm just a convenient presence in their lives rather than someone genuinely valued. I've recently withdrawn from the group, stopped responding to calls and started questioning whether I actually belong. Am I overthinking things, are my expectations of friendship unrealistic, or is distancing myself the right thing to do? How should I handle this situation?”

This has happened to me a lot, and I think I have learned some things that I could share with you that might help. If they treat eachother with more care than with you, you could tell them about it. If they are mature enough, they will try to change that and include you more. But if not which I think is more likely, they include you for maybe a week or two, and stop after a while. If that rings a bell, I think you should just stop caring just like they did. You can be friends, but maybe not that close, because you'll just get sad when they dont include you. You should find someone that treats you better, because you deserve it. Or if you dont have anyone else, being alone is more healthy than being with people you dont feel seen with. And you're not alone, I totally understand how you feel and I hope this helped at least a little <3
