Someone once asked...
Someone answered with kindness...
Taking my experience into consideration, probably, not the right people for you or, in other words, people who are not at your level of existence. It is completely normal to leave people in the past, even best friends. It hurts, but it is totally worth it. You will find new people and will receive the inspiration you have been waiting for for some time. Enjoy the loneliness now, breathe, play, explore, it is just a preparation phase for your big things.

You and me both, friend. And millions others. So I guess we're lonely together. But that's not helpful. Sometimes it helps me to hang out only with people I connect with. Where I don't have to watch myself. For the longest time, I didn't have such people. During that time, I spent time learning about myself. I also made up stories in my mind to keep myself distracted from the loneliness. And then I published those stories. Now I'm never lonely. I always have these people doing fun stuff in my head.

A woman once told me she'd stopped going quiet in group conversations — not because she felt heard, but because she'd learned no one noticed either way. That's a specific kind of loneliness. Not the absence of people, but the absence of being truly registered by them. You can fill a room and still feel unseen in it, if what you're showing people is a performance instead of yourself. The loneliness usually isn't asking you to find more people. It's asking you to find one you can stop performing for.

Try small talk with them. If you have difficulty hearing, dw. I've in this situation too. The best thing is to appreciate the silence which can give you room to think

It depends. Have you tried going to places which you tend to like hanging around in? That's where you'll find that you may not be so lonely after all :)
Another soul answered...
no one values you as much as you value them, i wouldnt put much energy into them and treat them as place holders until you find people that actually aknowledge your existence
Another soul answered...
it's alright, better be alone than to be with the bad company and eventually you'll find a group of people or even a single person with whom you'll not feel that way

Sometimes depression or anxiety can cause a feeling of constant loneliness the way to get rid of it can be to get through difficult activities step by step and or limiting screen time at least that worked for me✨

around people like your friends? if your friends make you feel lonely it might be that they aren't paying enough attention to you or they are just not the right people for you. in my opinion a person shouldn't make you feel lonely and that's a sign you need them out of your life. if that's not it maybe consider talking to them to solve things or speak to a professional, they know what to do.

Because you havent found your people yet. The people you are with dont truely understand you , yes they might love you but you always question is this conditional? I have always felt lonely around people except for my 2 best friends which made me realise that those two will forever support me and never leave me and will always understand me. I hope you find your people
Another soul answered...
You feel lonely because there's isn't a real connection between you and the people. The amount of people wont make you less lonely, what makes you less lonely is the friendships and conversions that happen. Hiding your true self isn't a true connection. You have to be honest and find people who understand you and are kind to you and others.

oftentimes we are not only disconnected from our peers, we are disconnected from ourselves. i think you have to understand the essence of your own life and soul before you can truly feel complete. when this disconnect happens, hanging around other people doesn't fill that hole. you are probably searching for deep understanding and empathy, which most people don't provide. i think trying to solve your loneliness with other people is useless. at the end of the day, the only person we will ever truly have is ourselves.
Another soul answered...
because you are not content being lonely by yourself.

You feel lonely because they each have someone closer to them than you, choosing someone else. Find someone who also feels this way and become the bestest of friends.

Sometimes, in life we do really talk people don't we? Yeah sure, we talk to people, socialize, and all that stuff. If you still feel lonely, maybe they leave you out of their gatherings or reject you as a friend but, that shouldn't be the case if they actually, and genuinely express their thoughts with you. So, maybe its all in just your mind? Could the feeling of being left out not even exist? Try understanding other people's minds, you can ask people about their thoughts on being left out. Although awkward to ask, you'll soon have the courage to start asking people about their fear of being forgotten or being left out. Random guy out...

It is completely natural to feel lonely around other people. True intimacy is rare and precious. Don't expect to find it easily.
Another soul answered...
Because you want to be seen deeply by one, not merely in the presence of many.
Another soul answered...
You have not built a connection with those around you so that you are isolated from them emotionally even in their presense. I hope you can find people that you connect with.
Another soul answered...
Because what you are searching for is not in those people.
Another soul answered...
My guess is you're either around the wrong people, or haven't had enough shared experiences with those people to become very close. If you're confident those aren't the case, then maybe what you're feeling isn't loneliness. Sometimes emotions are weird, and what you think is caused by X is actually caused by Y, and figuring out what that Y takes time.
Another soul answered...
You don't feel seen.

You may feel lonely around others because you are different. You have different interests, different hobbies. In other words, it is the wrong crowd for you. You need to "find your clan", so to speak, those who share your interests.
Another soul answered...
Dunno. Need a lot more personal specifics that are probably best not to be shared with strangers. I get that feeling at times too. A very general answer would be to seek fulfillment within yourself instead of from others. Best wishes to you.
Another soul answered...
Try talking to them. People like to talk about themselves and their interests. It is a great way to learn new things and make new friends!
Another soul answered...
loneliness is a state of mind. The things what you call loneliness is actually your mind trying to tell you that silence is also important. We are always to the social world and forget the value of keeping our minds empty once in a while.

When you look for reasons to distance yourself from people, you find them.
Another soul answered...
Because a lot of people can be in the room and yet fundamentally absent at the same time. A lot of people are not really there, and some, are not really all there. They don't have much to say or offer and it's an open question to what degree they are really conscious. It's a signal that you need to take evasive action and get to some place where the people are not so mediocre. This may take time or need you to become a more compelling person yourself. Stay or get fit. Learn a skill. Become even more of a contrasting force beside these zero qualia humans.
Another soul answered...
Look into people’s eyes and smile to warm up to the frequencies of the people
Another soul answered...
You are not alone. I feel it too.
Another soul answered...
Awh. I'm sorry. Idk if this helps but ur just a lil part of the universe that's convinced it's separate. If you pay rlly close attention to your awareness over time you will see the illusion. But in the mean time perhaps you can try to invest in developing deeper relationships? Maybe ask to go grab coffee with a friend for fun. You would be surprised at how if you put in effort a few times these things can compound. It's hard initially but once you find your people you can feel better. And again remember you are part of an infinite unending field of awareness, just temporarily twisted into a human shaped knot.

Firstly because you are alone, everyone is. You’re only experiencing you own feelings, body, life. No one else truly knows what it’s like to be you, but you. That can feel lonely. Therefore a healthy relationship with yourself is something to aim for in life. Secondly what is your role among these other people you feel lonely between? Having a role that others rely on helps greatly with feeling needed. As important is the feeling you need those people as well for something. Feeling needed and needing other people is an interface between internally forever individual souls.
Another soul answered...
You are around the wrong people
Another soul answered...
Consider if the person who you are around them, who is being nourished by their presence, is yourself in truth, and not the guardian face that protects you, or the artful face that tries to be liked. If others give their attention to only one piece of you, your hidden face may feel unaccompanied, unheard, and unseen. If reflection reveals your openness, consider who you approach for company, when and where, and what state of wellbeing they have. Even if you are ready, others may not be.

Your guard is up. Practice opening up. Share small details about yourself, be ever so slightly vulnerable. This is how you build a connection.

Abstract feelings and sensations are internal state and we match them with life situations and feel emotions. If our internal state is of high discomfort we match it with annoyances and feel anger, frustration etc. Abstract Loneliness is also internal and we map it to a lack of deeper expected connection even when around people. When not around people it feels like a longingness for contact but when around people we map it to a lack of deeper connection. Freedom is to see the internal state for what it is and not let it dominate how we see the external world.
Another soul answered...
You are an introvert. This is ok.

I feel lonely when I feel like my life is a single player sport. Its only when I find people that will sacrifice and fight by my side that I cease feeling lonely. That can take initiative on your side to be the first person to sacrifice and set the stakes of the relationship.
Another soul answered...
Because you suck

Being lonely and being alone are two entirely different things, even if we often confuse them. Being alone is a physical thing of "There is nobody here" that can be solved by being around other people. Being lonely on the other hand is a very emotional thing, where you are longing for connection. Simply being around people is enough for the former, but not the latter. Especially in our very fast and faceless society, being around random people can actually make the feeling of loneliness worse, as they don't seem to notice you as a person and just run past you. What you need is some sort of emotional connectioj to the people you have around you. By that I don't mean being around loved ones (though that may also help a lot if they are truly loved/liked). You need people that share your interests, that you can talk to. People that realize - even if it's only through some shared hobbies - that you are human and interesting. Depending on your hobbies and interests, this could go from a more faceless feeling of community at concerts or festivals, to a hobby-focused group activity like joining a gardening/painting/whatever association, to something where you personally matter like card games or TTRPGs. The important caveats is that these things both a) should be in person so you and they realize that there are actual people herey and b) not too large of a gathering, so that you can still be seen as an individual person. Find the groups where you belong or the friends that care about you. People where you can truly be yourself. If you still feel lonely then, maybe the issue is that you are unhappy whith how you yourself currently are. Something you want to be or do deep down, that you never had the strength to pursue.
Another soul answered...
Because you need to love yourself and who you are first
Another soul answered...
Try putting the feeling aside and listen to people, eventually you will find something that you like. Loneliness comes from within also, if you find peace with yourself you will find it among others.
Another soul answered...
Are we not born into a world of contradictions? As individuals we seek out acknowledgement, confirmation and reassurance from our peers, and yet, when participating in a congregation we seek to be heard, to be paid attention to, or to be credited and praised for the individuality that we present. Is it not the nature of our existence to seek opposites in the presence of duality? An act so noble or so futile?
Another soul answered...
Hmmm not an expert but if we're defining loneliness as in you feel a lack of connection to other people then perhaps thats the path to pursue? Why is it that you're not connecting with them?
Another soul answered...
You haven't found your People yet.
Another soul answered...
Being around people isn’t enough you need to connect with them.
Another soul answered...
Everyone feels exactly the same way you do. Some people are better at hiding this because of the role the play. We are all actors. Loneliness is more than lack of attention from others. It is also lack of connection with others. Pay attention to others. Listen. Reflect. Ask questions to learn more about them and their experience. People who ask the same of you are friends. Those who just talk and never ask about you are not friends. Spend more time with friends and less time as an audience. Then, you will feel less lonely.
Another soul answered...
I do not know. Personally I have this feeling when I think I cannot contribute or feel not seen. Maybe you can try go get more in touch, open up yourself, or find people where both of the former are possible. All the best!
Another soul answered...
When do you not feel lonely ? are those around you people you can truly be yourself or are you forced to act as someone you are not ?
Another soul answered...
Maybe you don't feel yourself as company. Maybe you feel around people instead of around selves. Maybe your people cannot or do not want company.
Another soul answered...
Because you haven't build up true intimate connection to anyone.
Another soul answered...
You are not connected to them. You are not talking about things you care about.
Another soul answered...
They might feel the same way, it is just human nature
Another soul answered...
Sometimes we need time for discovering our true self alone. Only then we are able to share what we have found with the people around us.
