Someone once asked...
Someone answered with kindness...
There's an old story about a student who spent years perfecting his calligraphy, hoping his master would finally say "well done." The master never did. Years later the student understood — the master wasn't withholding praise. He was trying to teach him not to need it. I don't know when you first learned that stillness felt like danger, that resting felt like falling behind. But you weren't born needing to prove anything. Somewhere, someone made you believe that love was conditional. It wasn't true then. It isn't now.
