So, about feeling average. Personnally, I think we all have to come to terms with being average. We all are, because nobody is born gifted (well maybe a few I guess, I don't really know after all). We become better than average in some fields and only some fields, because we've put the effort in it. Personnally, I discovered pretty fast, when I tried to make music, to play piano, to learn physics in university, that I was really average, or even kinda bad at it. But, through efforts and work, I became better. Now, faced to our averageness, our mediocrity, we can only do 2 things : work, or come to terms with it, whether we have to come to terms because of circumstancial limitations (economic, social, lack of time), or because we feel crushed by the comparison to others being better than us. Despite everything, despite our life conditions, our mental state is often heavily linked to how we view life. Sometimes, we cannot control things that are going on in our lives, so we're left with banging our head against the wall, or trying to let go. And for the "running out of time" part, I can only ask you "Running out of time to do what ?"
