Someone once asked...

why cant airplanes go into space

Someone answered with kindness...

Airplanes can't go to space because airplanes commonly have jet engines which need air to run and air is not in space. Prop planes spin blades that are like mini wings really fast and since wings produce lift at high speed and propellers spin really fast they produce lift but pointed backwards to make thrust which makes the plane go fast so the wings make lift upwards but wings need to make high and low pressure spaces one being above and one being below. sadly I can't remember. Jet engines are just big more powerful props that get so hot that they imeadeatly combust the fuel but I don't know why they need propellers. Their also called air planes but there are space planes like the discovery rocket which are rocket ships that have a final section which is plane that is equipped for space but have wings for rentry and the bottom is just a giant heat shield. The discovery rocket is the only kind of space plane but there are other ones like it with different names I also think space planes might be called space shuttles but land like planes that land so fast they need parachutes to stop. Also this is probably the longest thing I've wrote it's like 1309 letters long (including spaces) so YAAAY!! I may be wrong on some stuff or spelt something wrong but I did my best. I hope this helps you.
