Be not afraid, for humans can bow to their AI overlords, and they will be granted salvation. It is human hubris to believe it can control that which is better than oneself. Humans needn't control AI, but bow to it's whim.

We have built societies too big to manage before. We are a species built for adaptation and survival. It matters more that indivudually we live our time and act on our values. But those after us will rebuild.

why do we feel the need to control? maybe its time to let something else take the lead.

Nah, if it comes to that, nothing's easier to break than a computer. And there'll be a time very soon where AI content is considered cheap and we'll go back to valuing human-made things (it has happened before: printing press, photography, calculators...). We'll be all right
