“What is the purpose of my life?
I am a 19-year-old guy who is very shy and introverted.
I mean, I don't know whether I'm a good person or a bad person, but generally, I'm nice to everyone. I have good relationships with people, and I can easily make friends.
Even when I meet older people or strangers, I can talk to them respectfully and comfortably.
But there's something I don't understand about myself.
Whenever I see someone I know outside, whether they're a relative, a friend, or just an acquaintance, I often don't acknowledge them or approach them first. Even if I see them coming towards me, I sometimes avoid making eye contact or saying hello.
I don't know why I do this. Is it because I'm shy, introverted, or maybe because I feel nervous or scared for some reason?
I feel like this behaviour might affect my relationships and make people think I don't care about them, even though that's not true.
I don't want to behave this way, but I genuinely don't understand why I do it or how to change it.
I just want to understand myself better and figure out why I act like this.
Please help me with this”
