Someone once asked...

“what is happiness to you?”

✦

Someone answered with kindness...

Being detached with clinging things. And try hard to not form any attachments.

To me, happiness isn’t necessarily feeling excited or joyful all the time. It’s more like feeling that, for a moment, you don’t need to be anywhere else or become anyone else. It can be laughing until your stomach hurts, having a conversation with someone who makes you feel understood, coming home to a familiar place, discovering something you love, or simply having a quiet day where nothing feels wrong. I think happiness is often found in small, ordinary moments rather than one huge achievement. You can still have difficult days, feel lost, or be unhappy with parts of your life and still have happiness woven into it. Maybe happiness is less about making life perfect and more about noticing the moments that make being alive feel worthwhile.
