Well I recently ended a 3 years friendship. Reason: it felt no difference if I am there in her life or not!! She was planning to run from her abusive household and I was actually supporting her,regarding tht matter she met a guy online who said "out of humanity he will help her to move out" eventhough it was Lil sus I agreed believing she don't make wrong decisions. Mind you he is 27 nd she is 17!! They even meet. And I had her ig acc in my phone (as her parents took her phone) when I went to the msgs I was beyond disappointed and disgusted, I said her you are being groomed she was like I will set boundaries but nothing changed, he kept sending disgusting reels and msgs and she didn't corrected him(Also she defended him saying he is mature and I said but not matured what to send nd what not to a teen) and yeah I was done babysitting both. So yeah I am out .

I had a friend similar to your friend, she was having a very bad phase in her life and I kept advising her but she never followed them and always kept going back to the person who keeps hurting her, slowly she stopped talking to me, the only thing we can hope is that one day they wake up from that fever dream and realize their mistake, you did your part as a friend and helped her and advised her and warned her, all you can do is hope that she sees the reality and opens her eyes, you are a very good friend and you did your part
