Someone once asked...
Someone answered with kindness...
i genuinely don’t even know what to say because i can tell how deeply this has hurt you, and i’m really really sorry you’re going through this right now. being called something like that by your own mother, especially when you’re already sick and vulnerable, must’ve felt absolutely horrible. and please don’t think you’re being dramatic for crying over it. sometimes one sentence hurts so much because it isn’t just that one sentence, it brings up every other time you’ve felt unwanted, misunderstood or like you weren’t loved for who you actually are. so i completely understand why this feels like something you’ll remember forever. and please don’t let what she called you become something you start believing about yourself. you are NOT that word, and you are not the version of yourself that someone sees when they’re angry. what she said was cruel, regardless of why she said it, and you’re allowed to be hurt by it. especially when it comes from someone whose love you’ve probably wanted more than anything. wanting your own mother to be gentle with you, especially when you’re sick, isn’t asking for too much. wanting to feel loved as you, and not just as her child, isn’t asking for too much either. and please don’t sit there thinking god hates you. i know it probably feels like everything is against you right now, but this moment isn’t some proof that you’re unlovable or that you deserve any of this. you’re just hurting really badly right now, and when we’re hurting, our minds can make everything feel permanent. it won’t always feel exactly like this. you don’t have to figure out your whole relationship with your mom tonight either. just take care of yourself for now. cry if you need to, drink some water, get somewhere you feel safe and quiet, and if there’s someone you trust, please don’t be afraid to tell them you’re not okay. and i know i’m just a stranger, but i really want you to know that you don’t have to earn the right to be loved. you don’t have to be perfect... you are still *you*, even on the days when you feel completely broken. please be gentle with yourself tonight, okay? Love you bro❤️
Another soul answered...
Hey love I'm sorry for what is happening to you. I think you should talk her about this when she's practically not in a bad mood, voice what you feel and if it turns into an argument do not back down. And just know this is not sympathy I'm giving you. This is just love. Do take care of yourself. I hope your health becomes better and you've able to overcome whatever is happening in your life. I don't know where you're from but I'm from india it's diwali tomorrow which is a festival of lights. I would wish that your life is also filled with brightness and not this. Lots of love to you 🤍
