Someone once asked...

“We were in a relationship for almost two years. At some point, her sister started reading our private chats. After that, my girlfriend started explaining one by one why her parents would never accept our relationship. That night, she cried a lot, and I tried to console her. I told her to give her parents some time because I genuinely believed things might work out eventually. But within two days, her sister called me and told me to end the relationship. She acted as if she knew nothing about us, even though I believed she had known about our relationship for a long time. What hurt me the most was seeing my girlfriend standing beside her and laughing. The next day, I told my girlfriend that I wanted to visit her home because she wasn't responding to my calls or messages. I just wanted to see her and understand what was happening. But instead, her sister sent screenshots of my calls and messages to my father. I was completely confused about everything, so I contacted my girlfriend's friend to understand the situation. Eventually, I went to her house. Her sister and brother started questioning me, bringing up our private conversations and making comments about my lifestyle, education and other personal things. My girlfriend was recording the entire conversation. During the argument, I said that I could send some screenshots of our conversations to her father. I was referring only to the loving messages where we expressed our feelings and said things like "I love you." I was not talking about our negative or personal conversations. I wanted her father to understand that our relationship was genuine and that we truly cared about each other. But I never actually sent those screenshots to him. I only said it during the argument, and I never intended to expose her or embarrass her. During the same confrontation, her brother-in-law also brought up something about the videos. He made a comment about them, but didn't directly say that I was involved. He also covered up what he was actually trying to imply. That made the whole situation even more uncomfortable for me. Everything became too much for me. I couldn't control my emotions anymore, and I broke down crying in front of them. Eventually, my father arrived, and that's how the whole confrontation ended.”

Buddy I feel sorry for what happened today. Her relatives are taking decisions and invading both of your privacy. And its not justifyable actions . The advice i could give even event, though I'm in no position to give one, i think you should explain your situation with someone who you can trust. I don't know how is your relationship with your father is like ,but if he is an approachable person then you could come clean and explain the reality. And may be through your father, both parties could come to an agreement or whatever the situation leads to be. Now before this confrontation, you should try to communicate to your girlfriend via friends. I don't know what will her environment be like. I feel like both of your communication to each other could give some clarification for both of you in every ways. The situation sounds very serious. But whatever the outcome is, YOU Have to trust yourself, even if people around you shames you and assumes for your actions. Keep your self esteem like a concrete belt. No one is allowed to hurt you. I hope everything turns out right for both of you So long stranger
