Someone once asked...

“We had been together in a relationship for nearly two years. At some point, her sister began going through our private conversations. Later, my girlfriend started telling me the reasons why her parents were against our relationship, explaining them one by one. That night, she broke down and cried. I asked her to give her parents some time and hoped things would eventually work out. However, within two days, her sister called me and told me to end the relationship. She acted as though she knew nothing about us, even though I believed she had known about our relationship for quite some time. What hurt me most was seeing my girlfriend standing beside her and laughing. The following day, I told my girlfriend that I wanted to visit her home and speak to her family directly. Instead, her sister sent screenshots of my calls and messages to my father. Confused by everything that was happening, I contacted my girlfriend's friend to understand the situation. Eventually, I went to her house to speak with her family. Her sister and brother questioned me, brought up our private conversations, and made hurtful remarks about my lifestyle, education and other personal matters. My girlfriend was recording the entire conversation. In the middle of the argument, I said that I could show her father some of our conversations. I was referring only to the loving messages where we expressed our feelings and said "I love you"—not the negative or private conversations. I wanted her father to understand that our relationship was genuine and that we truly cared for each other. I never intended to expose or humiliate her. The situation became too overwhelming for me. I broke down and cried in front of them. Eventually, my father arrived, and that was how the confrontation ended.”
