Someone once asked...

“There was someone close to my boyfriend's extended family whom I used to talk to quite a lot. Things eventually went terribly wrong when she started creating misunderstandings between us by telling me that he had said certain things and telling him that I had said the same things. When we eventually found out what was happening, we cut contact. He asked her to apologise, but she refused. A few months ago, we spoke again, but she still couldn't acknowledge her mistakes. Instead, she claimed that she had been asked to apologise for no reason and said some rather hurtful things. What I still can't forget is how she once implied that because I came into his life, he stopped giving her time, so she had to get into a situationship. I don't know if I'm overthinking this, but I still find the entire situation incredibly strange. How do you even deal with someone who never takes accountability but somehow makes you feel like you're the one at fault?”

Someone answered with kindness...

This kind of person sucks and honestly I feel like that person might like your bf ( hope I'm wrong) but whatever it is there are always some people whom you can't keep in your contact. I would suggest if you have to speak to her then keep it very minimal and try ignoring her if possible. They will not try to understand whatever they have done it's a waste of everything for even trying.
