lmao, i'd say you put too much pressure too early, you might've come off as a bit strong, but not to worry, maybe its something only e knows on why he keeps leaving you on read.
but for the future, if somebody does tell you they wanna be friends even if you've made it clear you like them romantically, let go of those feelings and focus on being a friend first, unless prompted by the other person first.
