“so I wrote this lil poem and felt a bit embarrassed to share it with people ik irl so...here we go
A leaver:
one thing about me,
is that I leave.
I always do.
Even from feelings I craved
from things I faved
even when leaving makes me feel depraved.
My heart, so naive,
but my fiercest adversary,
Damned if I stay, undone when I don't
but departing is always necessary.
Goodbye is a heartbreaking word
"but maybe it won't hurt as much,
if I'm the one saying it"
i lie louder than anything I've heard.
I don't have the arms of a soldier,
or the soul of a mother,
but i do have the guts like sand,
I'll slip away like no other.
So I build walls thinking no one can break
Cuz I'm too weak to fight
it only takes one crack on my wall
and I break apart and take a flight”

Wow u shouldn’t be embarrassed to show your poetry. It actually really good and u should keep writing poetry! Also don’t be afraid to try out other types of poetry too like abstract, haiku etc.
