“So i said break up to my boyfriend because he kept comparing me to his ex whenever we fought and used to react and tell me things so bad and ignore me and go silent because he said i didn’t meet up to his expectations. He then cried in front of me and asked for a second chance…he did change after that..but i changed a little….i started to prioritise my feelings and spoke in a harsh tone when he said to hang up during conflict instead of begging him to fix. He noticed all the small changes and he started to lose feelings …he then held his feelings together and asked me to give him extra attention when he couldn’t take it alone…he said to me to be like before and i did change my reaction back to what it were….but day by day i failed to give him the extra attention he needed. I kept giving him normal attention instead of extra. Then he reacted once after emotionally breaking down infront of me because he felt like i didn’t care about his emotions. Then i understood the depth of the situation…i made efforts ….but he needed me to cross the limits….i crossed them…but failed to be consistent….he explained multiple times what hurt him and what i needed to do….but i failed to deliver them…even after everything he stayed….because i begged every single time to stay. He then said i valued his reaction instead of his emotion….he said if it was someone else….it would be okay by now….i feel like i am not enough for him….ever. …he also said this was the best he had ever gotten hurt in a relationship….he feels like he is begging for my love…..but i loved him with all my heart…crossed all my boundaries….still…now he gets mad and super reactive on small things i do….and he says that stopping this is the only option…i am still asking him to stay. Should i let him go?”

Someone answered with kindness...
Tell him your emotions honestly, then ask him how he is feeling. Ask him to tell you what he needs, then tell him your needs. Find a healthy way to reach each other. If it still doesn't work out, take a break, but check up on each other once in a while.
