Someone once asked...

“So, I know this guy from school, and it's been around 5–6 years since we first got to know each other. Last week, I went to his college fest, and we were meeting after almost four years. It was a three-day fest, but since it was his college fest, we couldn't really get time to spend together during the first two days. However, on the last day, we finally got some time alone. We went for a walk, and he held my hand, then put his arm around my shoulders, and eventually held me by my waist. I was comfortable with all of it, and honestly, it felt really nice. At one point, he asked me what I thought about casual relationships. I told him that I'm not someone who is interested in anything casual. If I'm dating someone, I want it to be committed because, ultimately, I'm dating with the intention of finding someone I could marry. I also told him that I'm not seeing anyone right now because I haven't really found people around me who share the same mindset. We hugged each other quite a few times that evening, and overall, it was such a wholesome experience. It genuinely made me feel good. When I got back to my hostel, apparently, his friends saw us together and asked him if we'd made out or something. He told me about it and said that nothing like that had happened, of course. But ever since that night, we haven't really addressed what happened between us. We're still talking regularly, but he's been replying quite late. Although, I think that might be because he's currently out of town for a competition and isn't as active on his phone. The thing is, I really want to meet him again. I want to talk about that evening and understand whether he felt the same way I did or whether he's actually interested in me romantically. I don't want to assume anything based on one lovely evening, but I also don't want to leave things unaddressed. I just don't know how to bring it up without making things awkward or making it seem like I'm putting pressure on him. I want to be honest about how I felt and, at the same time, understand where he stands.”

Someone answered with kindness...

I would say, figure out hwo you prefer to state this to him, whether it is offline or on text, what makes you comfy and then start with smthg like "I've been wondering abt that evening and i wanted to be honest about the feelings i have right now to myself and you...." You cant hold onto just a feeling since he asked abt casual rlps, you have to be direct and figure out where both of you stand, and i rlly hope you get him and he treats you good. :))
