Yeah that a very relatable situation..same happened with me some years ago..you have identify your motive with them...are they only transactional? Do they respect you when you are with them and infront of others?...do you always talk about only work related stuff...cause most people does...they work as a transactional person is our life.....but if there is a person you can trust..you can be yourself without worrying how you are looking...they aren't judging you....inshort you aren't performative infront of them...last is you don't feel drained after talking to them....and these people are hard to find..but be patient....
