Through common interests, communities, and IRL hobbies. I met my husband at a church where I was working and he was playing in the band. We bonded over love of culture, music, and good food. Although we technically met at church, we started dating after we were both invited to a Lunar New Year party where I knew hardly anyone. We recognized each other and sat down to eat dinner and talked the whole night, and even ended up dancing. I had almost said no to the invitation. So the moral of the story is, say yes to the invitation! I hope you find your person <3
