“Over the last six months, a female coworker and I have become very close. We text late into the night, and she shares all her small daily problems with me. I have developed real feelings for her, but I do not know what place I hold in her life.
Our pattern is never consistent. Some days we talk for hours, and then she goes totally quiet. I do not believe she is avoiding me on purpose; she is likely just caught up in her own personal stress.
Right now, two days have passed without any contact. I am waiting for her reply because I want to talk to her so much, but this waiting makes me nervous and afraid of losing her. Still, whenever she reappears like everything is fine, I get scared and keep quiet instead of saying what is on my mind.
What is the best way to handle this situation?”

Ok so first of all we need to understand that life does get busy sometimes but here i can see a pattern that se come and goes and then the same thing. I would suggest you talk it out with her and just sort things out cuz this is the only practical solution as if you don't you'll just waste your precious time and efforts onto something which you don't have a future with.
If you think she likes you go ahead and your win win .if you think she doesn't atleast you have clarity and you can pit efforts in the right places in life
All the best buddy ))
