Ask him what did he meant by that don't have mixed signals ask him is he serious about his gf and all and should she wait or move on but by this he sounds like a red flag

If u feel that he is definitely the ONE, then the best thing u can do is wait and hope for the best, atleast in my opinion. But remember to not let it overpower you in your daily life.
