Another lady here n i can actually relate i went through something similliar n my man left me TO build his own career. No matter Sometimes how much you try for a person they'll never acknowledge it which makes me lose faith in love. There might be another issue that mostly from the girl's side their parents dont agree properly if they dont have a proper future plan and stability because they wouldn’t want to give their daughters to suffer since they leave their home to stay with another family. Another is listen to me man i Couldn't Believe it even myself since my thing was like 5 years too but trust me Sometimes people do Change. The best thing is to focus on yourself for now and see if She's still available for you back then. If not move simply. I learned it in the hard way even being a woman. I was considerate n nice and it didnt work lol. So yeah would suggest you same

Hey man, sorry about the breakup, hang in there. I think neither of you are inherently wrong to be honest - she probably just really wants someone with a full time job and doesn't fully comprehend that you're trying as a part time job isn't enough for financial stability. But you are also right for feeling sad and upset because you thought she would look past that and stay. The thing is, if you guys had an open honest conversation about it it could have been figured out because you can atleast communicate how long yall are willing to wait. But if you say she waited for three years this could really just be a difference in ambition or drive because she maybe sees that you're not actively progressing to the level she envisioned. I think just focus on yourself and try to make it work out for yourself. I am also in a relationship for 3 and a half yrs and my boyfriend didn't have a job for the first year, we endured quite a bit of taunts and insults from family the whole year but I trusted him and his capabilities - if you didn't give her that reassurance, not moving forward or if she genuinely just can't trust that you will move onto better things some people do lose feelings and look for better in terms of ambition. It really isn't your fault if you tried and communicated adequately to her, just use it as a life lesson and move on to someone who actually loves you unconditionally to wait for you, and for you to put in the work to be better for yourself first of all. Just channeling all the energy into building a better future for yourself and letting it go - is my advice.
