Start talking to her casually nothing suspicious..... Make her comfortable a little start as friend most importantly be patient it will take time... If you want her that badly you will survive somehow if not you will know it was just attraction. So going back to the topic learn about her interests do things that will make her happy within the boundaries of a friend ( you have to give frequent Q/A with your friend because of this that's why). Then once she get comfortable enough to share her relationship problems put the blame on your friend indirectly direct blame just don't work. If possible try to manipulate your friend like you deserve better than her make him count her red flag signs. Do this with patience and you could maybe win her heart eventually if not you will not regret not trying. It might sound harsh on your friend but let's be honest to yourself it was harsh the moment you had a crush on her so let it be.
