“my family and i watch tv together and it is always good memories for me, but i am the only one not looking at another device. im annoyed at their taste in shows because half of it has terrible animation or set design. what annoys me most is that theyll turn on a show and not like it and let it play for three hours and then insult me about watching such bad tv when i was just trying to bond and be interested in what they were watching. i have people to bond over media with but it's not the same with family. ive found it important to watch tv with them and now i think that was one sided but i guess since im young media has more of an impact on me. last week i turned on a show i really like and they liked the first season and they reacted like twice an episode and it pissed me off because it's a horror comedy so youre really supposed react and it's good show. it's frustrating it's special to me and it's background noise to them.”
