“My ex msgd me after around 2 yrs on my bday recently and said that he was feeling very sorry,guilty and is also regretting for being so bad towards me when we were together.Somehow we spoke and then we also met after that and that is when i realized that i hv never moved on and could still not handle that.He has a gf now but he isn't feeling complete with her.He also said that the reason texted me isn't fir a second chance or reconciliation but just to express his regret.
But me being dumb i imagined alot.Ik there is zero possibility of us getting back together again bcz there r many things stopping me and there's literally no future.But I love him and ig he will be the only one that I purely and truly love frm the core of my heart.He did miserable things in last 2 yrs which aren't ideal.But i still can't unlove or forget or atleast just be grudgeful against him.Someone help bcz this shit is really messing up”

if he's the only one who can like 'complete' you, then try. if he expressed his sorrow for what he did to you in the last few years, and was truthful about his gf, then there could be a possibly. refriend him.
note: if he did something serious in the past few years together (such as rape) then DO NOT get back with him.

I don't think anyone could help you come out of this, it's yourself who has to move on. A good trustable person could only guide you and support you here to stay on the right path but mainly also understand what you're actually feeling.
