See from what you have said some things are preety clear
First he has entered a state of either semi cheating or full on cheating
Second he is trying to keep you as a open safe option
Third he is either in a relationship with his colleague or is trying to get into one
If I were you I would block him and go full no contact with him as he has no respect for you now.
