Someone once asked...

“Modern pension and healthcare systems are built on an implicit generational contract: today's working young fund yesterday's retirees. As individualism rises and childlessness becomes a choice of personal freedom, the demographic pyramid collapses—leaving fewer workers to support a growing elderly population." "If our collective safety net relies on the next generation, does choosing not to have children naturally create an unfair burden on others—or is it the social contract itself that needs to be rewritten?”

Someone answered with kindness...

The social contract is barely even in existence anymore, after decades and decades of a system that promotes the lack of one. The truth is, the social contract and individualism cannot coexist as much as the modern world pretends. The social contract needs kindness and effort from everybody, not just the young and future generations. Any previous generation that does not contribute is as much or more of the problem as anyone expressing the desire to simply not have children. The system is broken, but that doesn't mean we have to adhere to it. I choose to fulfill the social contract and build community every chance I get, and I will continue to do that for the good of anyone I can help. If more people join this cause, then we will never run out of good.
