Someone once asked...

“Missing out enjoyment and happiness”

✦

Someone answered with kindness...

Hey, I hear you. That feeling of missing out is heavy — like life is happening somewhere else and you're watching it from a window. A few things that helped me when I felt the same: Enjoyment doesn't always have to be big. We wait for a big trip, a big achievement, a perfect day to feel happy. But happiness often lives in very small, quiet moments — a good tea, sunlight on your face, a 10 minute walk without your phone. When you stop waiting for the big moments, you start finding more of them. Also, what you see of other people's happiness is never the full story. We all curate the best parts. You are not behind, you are just on your own path, at your own pace. Try this for a week: at the end of each day, write down 2 tiny things that were actually okay. Not amazing, just okay. It slowly trains your mind to notice that you are not missing _everything_. You are not alone in feeling this. Be gentle with yourself. You deserve to enjoy your own life, exactly as it is now.
