“I’ve spent 4 years building a massive publishing and reading platform, without funding or other employees. I think it might change how works are discovered and sold digitally, i.e. taking 0% royalty cut from authors, and no AI allowed. But at the same time i feel burnt out and nihilistic about it.
I feel like I’ve wasted so much of my life. I hate myself so much. Like I’ve thrown away all my career paths chasing this idea….what do you think?”

It doesnt matter if it succeeds or fails, the valuable bits are the lessons you learn while you do this.
Maybe your final lesson is to launch sooner and dont worship an idea that you get so scared you wont ever launch it.
