Firstly clear that thing that if she was homophobic, is she now Lesbian? And do you want to be her girlfriend or just wanna be friends with her? If she is straight and just not homophobic i think you shouldn't go back to her bcz you will gonna love her so hard and at the end she will gonna leave you again...but if she really wants to get in a relationship and you really like her and you think that now she is not the same person and do assessment about her that if she is now making those selfish annoying statements now or not...if she is really not that person and changed herself then give it a try maybe things work out in your favour
