“I've always struggled with languages. People always bullied me for the way I spoke hindi/urdu (parents first language, mother language?) while I've spoken English all my life as my first language. I can read, write, understand 100%. Maybe reading a little slow but that's fine. The main problem is speaking urdu/hindi fluently. I can't. And that needs practice I know. But I absolutely refuse to speak cause every single person I know bullies me or makes fun of it and my body has just rewired to shut up and never speak again. And I wanna get better and struggle speaking with locals and sometimes can't even make friends cause of it. What do I do?”
