Someone once asked...

“I've always struggled with genuine friendships, and even in law college, I often feel left out of my friend group. I feel like I'm mostly approached when someone needs help, while I'm rarely included in plans or conversations. It hurts, and I end up overthinking these things almost every night. Am I expecting too much by wanting to feel valued, included and remembered? I know I might sound greedy, but I genuinely want to become an important part of this group. I can't distance myself from them because I'll be spending the next three years with them. How can I make my place in the group, become someone they genuinely value, and stop feeling left out without compromising my self-respect? Please someone tell me .”

Someone answered with kindness...

Bro honestly, i think u havenot found your people yet and i think you yourself are not trying to find them. Yk the biggest problem you can make for yourself is to be surrounded by people you know are making you feel bad. When i started my university, i remember i used to feel the same way. And i was very shy to ask new people to be my friends and always wanted people yo approach me . But sometimes u just have yo make the first move, change the company, find the people who’s vibe you like and observe them, if u like them then go straight to them and say hey let be friends! Its THAT SIMPLE NO NEED TO BE SHY OR ANYTHING YOU HAVE ONLY ONE LIFE AND YOU DESERVE TO SURROUND YOURSELF WITH PEOPLE YOU LIKE ! Its. Not called being greedy its basic human need ! So gather up sone courage and be a grown up and go make friends as life is too short for regrets! I DID IT, YOU CAN DO IT TOOOOOOO
