Is there anyone here over 55 with a genuine fear of death?

I do not want to give my age to a stranger on the internet, but I am not afraid of death. I am religious, and don't want to give a religious explanation of why, because I understand not everyone is.
If you do not believe in an afterlife or heaven of some sort:
Would complete oblivion really be that bad? Yes, it means no more laughter, or joy, but no fear or pain either.
