Someone once asked...

Is it too late to change my life?

Someone answered with kindness...

An old man came to the temple wanting to become a monk. Some of the younger ones laughed quietly — surely, they thought, his life was mostly behind him. He studied harder than any of them. Someone finally asked why he'd started so late. He said, "The next best time is now. I already missed the first one." There's no departure gate that closes on you. Late starts still arrive somewhere. The only version of "too late" that's actually true is the day you stop starting.

This sign has found its fate.
