I'm the same way! I think developing new hobbies and interests can help with keeping you away from doomscrolling. Try going to your local library, find different books on hobbies that seems interesting to you (and maybe even pick up some fiction books and see if reading if your hobby!). If your hobby requires you to buy things, go to a dollar store and pick up some things you think could work. If you find that you actually really like the hobby, you can get things from a more expensive store, but save your money for now. If you find that you like the hobby, you can start to do more with it! And not just continuing to pursue it (because duh!), but maybe join clubs or activities related to it, if you can. For example, if you're into crafting, maybe find a crafting club near you. You get to dedicate some time to your new hobby, and maybe even meet some friends! Have fun!

i find that when i do that i just want to fidget, so i have key cal fidgets and fidgets that make pretty colors. scrolling isnt fun after a little bit, set an app limit it thirty minutes and once it's up consider if you think you'll enjoy scrolling more. it's not your fault, this tech is designed to be addicting and there are multiple studies about how hard it is to quit and how it negatively impacts your mind.
