I am very sorry about this. But I was lucky and saw the belly of the beast. the people in charge are burying knowledge and closing down access. Try starting with anything FOSS. Every paid software has a free equivalent. Just installing a FOSS app on Android and learning to run offline backups will be a challenge in the future. It's an uphill battle. But in time you will find pieces of tech you can preserve for the long future.
