“I'm literally not trying to be pick me here. But while there's a movement going to fix the patriarchy mindset, and to fix women problem and all. And I'm in full support of it
But here's what also should be normalized.
Boys having emotions, like please can't men have emotions and moods too? Or is it just gender specific thing
Like literally just today I was watching my brother play with my father, and my brother get brutally hit with a ball straight on his stomach, and obv he is just 12 so he cries, starts panicking, me and my father pulled him outside the turf field and once we are sitting on bench and him still coughing and crying my dad comfort him for like 30 sec, and then he started saying you shouldn't be crying, you should be strong enough to handle the hit, you are getting hurt cuz you are weak. Like MAN CAN'T KIDS BE WEAK? also please don't hate my father guys he is a good guy. I'm just saying it's the mindset I'm sure my father have also listened to be strong and not cry his whole childhood
And obv after certain point my brother reached his limit of tolerance and he stood up to leave, yelling that why do you keep saying the same thing. He went to sit on different bench. I went to him, reassure him, ask him how he feel, make him feel safe, instead of forcing him to be strong enough. And when he get well and went to play again
I called out my father for his behavior that you should not have done that, maybe told him all these things later, but not when he is already vulnerable. And yes he accept his mistake and said yeah I shouldn't have done that
But guys we should also remove this mindset right? When we are trying as a society to be less conservative. It should be equal for both men and women. Both should be allowed be feel emotions and express themselves.
Also it would be good if a men responds to it. Cuz I want them to agree with me? That they might have also experienced similar things.”

Yessssss...its a very big hear me out topic..cause..definitely men can cry..they gotta cry..nowadays men are seemingly less emotionally available and less emphathetic..its all due to the way they were brought up..men should express their emotions..there is not such thing as crying is for girls..crying,tears and sadness are for humans..it is meant to be expressed..let them cry..and let them feel safe to express their emotions..its really time that we talk about this.
