What guarantee do you have that his love for you won't fade? I know it may not seem like that, but somehow who is willing to hurt and destroy their family for you, won't be afraid to destroy you for someone else either. If he is afraid of destroying his family, then there is no way you guys can be together. I understand the pain and I understand how much your first love means to you but please think of wife and son.

first of all, make sure hes telling the truth and he actually is in love with you, if he is then, ask yourself this does being with him make you better as a person or not? is it does then ask him what would the future look like if we start to date officially, see if you are okay with it, if you are then all is fair in love and war. if hes not telling the truth BLOCK HIM. hope this helped ;)
