“I'm going through an extremely painful breakup, and I desperately need emotional and spiritual guidance.
I was in a relationship with someone I loved deeply. We shared beautiful memories, cared for each other, and were an important part of each other's lives. However, over time, we started having frequent arguments, misunderstandings, and emotional conflicts.
I want to be clear that I wasn't always the one at fault. There were situations where his words and actions hurt me deeply too. Sometimes I reacted emotionally because I felt misunderstood or hurt, and those reactions led to further arguments. We both made mistakes, and I believe both of us contributed to the problems in our relationship.
Despite everything, I never stopped loving him. I always believed that if we communicated better, understood each other's feelings, and worked on our mistakes, we could make the relationship healthier.
But recently, he decided to end things. He told me he no longer loves me and doesn't want to continue the relationship.
For the past three days, I've been crying almost constantly, both day and night, sometimes right in front of him. I've barely been eating or sleeping. I've even taken sleeping pills because I couldn't sleep properly. I realize that I'm struggling emotionally and need help.
He says he feels traumatized by what happened in our relationship. I understand that our repeated arguments may have affected him deeply, but I also carry emotional pain from everything that happened between us.
What hurts me is that I feel as though all the responsibility for our relationship falling apart is being placed on me, even though I know I wasn't always wrong.
I still love him wholeheartedly and want him back. I don't want to force him into a relationship, but I wish he could understand that we both made mistakes and that our relationship wasn't made up of arguments alone. There was genuine love, care, and happiness too.
I'm struggling to understand how someone who once loved me so deeply can become so emotionally distant. I keep wondering whether his feelings have truly disappeared or whether he's emotionally exhausted by everything we've been through.
I have started praying because I genuinely wish for healing, forgiveness, and another chance for us.
My questions are: Can love return after someone has become emotionally exhausted? Is reconciliation possible when both people have hurt each other? Is there any prayer or spiritual practice that can help bring healing and understanding between us?
Most importantly, how do I find peace without giving up the hope that we might someday rebuild our relationship?
I don't want him to suffer, and I don't want to keep suffering either. I just wish we could heal from everything that happened rather than lose each other completely.
And we are living in the same house. We see each other everyday. He moved to another room now. I cant sleep at jigt without his presence. My friends have been trying to console me and also sleep beside me.
Please guide me”

Someone answered with kindness...
As hard it sounds, you firstly need to accept the fact that things did get hard enough between you two that he believed walking out was the best decision. You can't control how he feels, what he chooses for himself or even what he does. You literally can't. It is hard to let go of the hurt and pain, plus all the love you have for him. But I suggest, that you accept your situation right now and let it wash over you in a healthy way. You might be needing him back desperately but that's not your sign to react. Stay calm, busy yourself, listen to music, focus on yourself more. Because, during that relationship, you stopped building your own life and rather created your whole personality around him. So, pick the things you used to again, go back to your hobbies, parents (if it's possible), hang out with your friends when you can, focus on your work and career. If it's meant to be, it'll be, rest is history, love, don't carry it on your shoulders and let go of it.
