I'm currently preparing for a government exam, it was a dream of mine since childhood and my parents are so sure about it. Everyone believes I'll clear it in one go. After preparing for 1.5 years I feel that it was not my ACTUAL dream. I mean i hate the concept of 9 to 5 and I'm a person who'll look up to explore every other country, new food, meet new ppl. Now I don't have 1℅ of motivation to prepare for it but I have not told anyone about it.
Option 1: I give my 1st attempt which is in 5 months and then fail and choose my path by moving abroad for my masters
Option 2: I fail in my exam and be in my hometown and do my masters from here and do a suitable job.
(The exam is so hard and it need a lot of preparation and I know that I'm gonna fail.)
I would really mean so much if the person reading this will answer.

See as we r evolving human beings our interest,way of looking for things will change by time and it's completely normal and kind of imp also...so first it's completely fine if now u r not interested in something u used to think as your dream since childhood and be grateful that u figure it out before it gets more messy....if u really feel it's not ACTUAL dream pls don't keep on it just for anyone sake....and if I say abt options so...if I'll be in your place I will chose abroad one becoz see u recently got to know that whtever exam you r preparing for it's not wht u really want to do so u should give sometime to that thought also live your life in these 6 months get hobbies and see things u haven't in your city and study also a little bit (as u said it's a very tough exam u r not way to pass so there is no pressure on you from yourself to push hard rgt.) after it u have a option to go to abroad so that's all ....I hope my advice will help u in any sense!!
